Rose food is also very good for daffodils, but that works out dearer than tomato food.

My experience with Aldi plants is, that if you buy them as soon as they arrive, you will get nice healthy plants. Once in stock Aldi seem to forget to look after them or water them and in a very short time they are shrivelled and on their last legs.
