Dead stalks....
Personally, I'd leave them a bit longer. Beneficial insects often hide inside dead stalks over winter to keep warm. When you do cut them off, I'd put them somewhere in a little pile in the corner...

Overcrowded bed?

....i don't think you need to move anything just now but the Hellebores and Ferns will need a bit more space over time as they might crowd each other out

Double Up seedlings ?
Well there is only one way to find out . I'll try a few "clumps" when I am pricking out in the next few weeks, and try and see how they fare as compared to singletons.
