New Business Idea-Advice Wanted
Yeah i have designed the card board packaging so it holds the compost and seed in, It works very well i can hold it upsidedown without falling out.

Watering and feeding after late autumn planting
We don't have compost or grass clippings - we have a small courtyard garden with not much of anything.
Will pick up some bark chippings then - thank you. Thank you also for the feeding tips!

P.S. I had a Google earlier, but I can't find anything about whether the previous-years' corms can be broken off the chain to bulk up varieties more quickly. If thinning a clump it would be good...

Me Staddle Stone's after breeding!
They've all turned to mush after a few days. :( I've bracket fungus growing on old apple tree stumps. Bracket Fungus is lovely and doesn't seem to deteriorate at all.

When I plant those types of bulbs, I go at least 2 inches apart, thus I don't have to dig them up and separate them for at least 8 years.
