I'm sure its possible, but you will need a few skips, the raised bed will probably have to go along with the border on the other side.Basically just flatten the lot and start again.

I cut down my yellow bottle brush earlier as it was badly damaged and looked pretty lanky anyway. The root is well in there, been there a number of years.Its sprouting new leaves now, I wont get any flowers, but its recovering.

When mine go out to the greenhouse they get a week or so covered with fleece to reduce the light intensity, sun burn on a cactus looks horrible.
