What's growing under my jasmine?

If it`s self seeded you`ll see the seedlings next spring.
If it`s growing from the base that means it`s still viable, cut the dead stuff out, and, with a bit of luck, you may get another year out...

Got them in Dobbies but they did not have 5" and 6" only large clay pots.There is a theme with these but for now can't say.Thankyou anyway LOL.

Well I found out why the grass grew so poorly... underneath a thin layer of soil there's stones! Good for the gravel area as it will be a good base but oh my oh my oh my, digging over is not going...
