Thank you so much so they are impressive I am so happy to here that . I do work form home and part of my work is seaonal turn aroudn containers and baskets. I am self employed and like to plant up nice baskets and containers. Just away to deliver some Autumn baskets now. Thank you again...

I'd pull it out too as it's not meant to be there and will be using up stuff the jasmine needs

TBH I don't have much cuttings from my conifers as the only ones I have are out the front but I do get loads of conifer stuff from next door falling in my garden. Maybe I should just put it in a black bag and leave it by itself

If it`s self seeded you`ll see the seedlings next spring. If it`s growing from the base that means it`s still viable, cut the dead stuff out, and, with a bit of luck, you may get another year out of them.

Got them in Dobbies but they did not have 5" and 6" only large clay pots.There is a theme with these but for now can't say.Thankyou anyway LOL.

Well I found out why the grass grew so poorly... underneath a thin layer of soil there's stones! Good for the gravel area as it will be a good base but oh my oh my oh my, digging over is not going to be fun at all!

Spring.Whilst you could do it now if you wait till spring it will recover quicker.

As Flinty has mentioned in his post but when walking take short steps and use your heel, it looks silly but it compresses the soil so you get a better level. Once youve walked over the soil just lightly rake over where you have any dips :thumb:

I'm looking for help in collating a map or guide to wild food and foraging sites in the city, particularly fruit trees in municipal spaces. It's frustrating every autumn to see fruiting trees on public land going unharvested while food prices are increasing and fruit is being transported from...

Thanks for that what exactly does variegated mean? and will that climer climb up trees? because I have plans for the far bank too willows to be exact and would it harm them?Cheers Nelly

Yep, I might get one next time. These sorts of tools are cheaper these days, if you just want to do the odd job.

Begining, (roughly after the worst of the frosts when the weather is starting to warm)

Feed and weed is a waste of time in terms of weed control, Use verdone extra, if you spray in the next couple of weeks you should (just!!) be ok, maybee another spraying in the spring. Spray it on rather than using a watering can.

A flicker of eyelashes usually does the trick:D
