Best to tidy Salvia Hot Lips early spring. You can cut them back anytime really, if you did it now you would lose flowers but it regrows very quickly, it is a bit of a thug.

Wow that's a list! I'm wondering if I have over fed them, I started them off in pots with 50/50 manure/compost, then added more of the same when planting them in the ground, they've also had Tomato fertilizer once a week!
