advise on plants
Fuschias are also quite useful in pots with some of Peter's reccomendations. I also use a mix of Perennial grasses and Cannas with the more tender plants - do not appear to need as much water but...

Hmmm, hebes might be an idea, although they'd have to be the small ones as the areas aren't that big. I like the berries idea too, thanks.
