I agree with Stingo & pete re pruning. As for cuttings, we've done loads. Just snip a bit of and bung it in some water till it's developed enough roots to pot, easy peasy.

What got you into gardening?
Every spring i have a depression where Poppy, the german shepherd, has launched her self from the patio on to the lawn. It happens in winter cause the soil is usually damp. She caught me out once....
