    Ah thanks Pete. I didnt know about the heartwood/sap - my friend just said there was life/green in the twig she snapped but she might be wrong. I appreciate the help.

    SWEET PEAS 2019

    Very similar colour too the SPs I grow. These are Charlies Angels ( which I could not get this year) and Our Harry. Both very good performers with lovely colour.

    How can I help my buxus!

    My action would be to sort the drainage out first. Not keen on bonemeal ....I know it’s often recommended It might be blight but first things first.....the drainage. And I wouldn’t repot just now :)
