I had a white foxglove amongst mine but i sowed two different sorts ..wild foxglove and the excelsior ones which are mixed so the white one probably came from that batch..

they are just the commen red ones and the pink ones have a very pale green leaf..thats all the ingo i know..has the person as moved abroad

Thanks Frogesque, I found it very difficult to get bits of root, but my bit has now got a little flower on so I can look out for seedheads, and try to spread it. Now it's in my garden I can...

Sorry don't know Michael. usually leaves turn yellow because they don't like too much water or they don't like too much lime in the soil. Hydrengas like water, but tolerate lime, so don't know...

I must add that mine are grown in a large nursery glasshouse not a domestic one and are able to keep winter/spring temperatures (to produce large numbers of bedding plants) higher than most folk...
