I would go for a panel fence, although I personally don't like them, for speed and grow some more permanent plants in front of it. We are not supposed to use barbed wire in case a burglar gets...

Hi grimme i grew loads in patio tubs,flower pots and window boxes, because they are my favorite flower, they smell beautifull. mine grew to between 10 to 14 inches. or 25.5 to 35.5 cm .

you have plenty of time to prepare the soil, if it was dug over last year you only need to fork it over and remove any weeds, look for worm activity . this is a good sign, Keep off soil if it is...

Once you have Comfrey it is very hard to get rid of. Like all the other advice wait I am sure it will re-shoot, and carry on using it as you have. Makes an excellant compost accelerator.

I agree with Hans. It's often worth paying more for larger plants, and saving a few years....Delivery is expensive, but you can get quite large trees in a hatchback!
