I think I’d have gone with slate, against the white planter. I agree, slate is a bit dark, but colours up really well when wet. Just personal choice

I should add in a pergola of some sort too. That might need solar fairy lights on it.Eventually the greenhouse should get power back to it so I'll be able to tap into that if needed
