    I could scream

    I found a band of copper tape and spraying the bottom 6" with WD40 , worked really well at keeping the blighters out . I now have some nice plastic raffia containers so don't want to stick tape...

    Dave, blight is an air-borne disease so can affect plants in greenhouses as well as outside, and as Pete says, it only affects members of the potato family.
