    Greenhouse cam

    There are plug and play versions now. Mine was a little complicated to install, what with having to assign a port on the wireless router.

    New thermostat for heated tray.

    Cor, @JWK you only got a Thermo 1, I've got a Thermo 2 ! (with extra cooling function, bought from same place). Great bit of kit.

    Greenhouse temperature

    It's unlikely the brick wall will hold the heat where as a house wall does to a certain extent, having the inside heat as a back up to keep the cold at bay.

    Yes I think I was a bit quick off the mark with the sowing. Afterall theres still a risk of frost at night. I will have to rethink. Thanks Pete.

    Only got two panes to replace with Perspex and the rest I fitted from the inside, I only needed about 15cm distance to fit the glass! Will post a picture soon.I stuck with the concrete slab base...

    I use John innes NO 3 with added grit , also grit once its all potted on the top helps to stop weeds moss etc and hopefully slugs

    My only negative point is that the boiler is outside the greenhouse (not that you would necessarily want the fire inside the greenhouse) and all the "waste heat" from the boiler itself getting hot...
