Maybe use some bleach first (keep it away from plants of course!) - leave it for a couple of hours then use a hose or power washer (use on low setting).

Sounds more like you may have nutrient deficiency there flowerpotty. How old are they.?

Auto openers are about £18 i think.Very useful and easy to fit.I also have a louvre window which I bought in B and Q. Cant recall the price but it seems quite a good one. Hope this helps

just spent a very long day with Mrs Plantman removing glass from our 6 x 10 greenhouse, moving it 2ft, then cleaning and replacing glass....it wasn't much fun I wouldnt recomend it if your looking for a fun saturday.

Forgot to say I have now got the greenhouse up with most of the glass in. I am 5 panes of glass short due to them being broken before I moved it.

..also try to get a get a decent height difference between the top and bottom vents.

Im trying to set up a dripper irrigation system. Iv made a ring main around my greenhouse in 19mm supply pipe with 45x 4mm 1 meter length feed lines with adjustable drippers on the end. Iv used a filter and non-return valve. I'm using a 4000 ltr per hour pump the sicce multi 4000the problem...

I've put up two second hand greenhouse and would say it's well worth the extra little bit of hassle with replacing some W clips, bolts etc. ( all of which are available in garden centres). The saving in overall cost means you end up with a usable greenhouse at a quarter of the price, if it's not...

Assuming you mean in beds in the greenhouse (i.e not containers) then I change mine every year, I've found that tomatoes don't do at all well grown in the same soil twice. I use a mixture of soil taken from another part of the veg patch mixed with lots of my home made compost. They won't do very...
