I think it's worth paying a bit extra for toughened glass. It looks just like ordinary glass, lovely and clear and doesn't decay with age, but it has no sharp edges and is really really hard to...

Average Temp For Greenhouse
These are outdoor bedding plants, so its best to keep an even cool temp and avoid fluctuations. During the day I'd aim to keep it below 20 dec C and not let it get below 10 deg at night.

£100 doesnt sound that bad considering you gain more height and possibly get a taller door too. Mine would be around 6ft 8" if it had an eave.
