When I first glanced at this I thought it said 'how do I propagate 'puppies'. I have some Danish Flag and Black Peony Poppy seeds and look forward to seeing results. In saying that, I have never had success with Poppies after many attempts!

It's a bit late to comment but in case it's still relevant, I hade this same problem and on advice from the supplier of wild flower turf, I stripped all of the top soil away from what had been a well fed veg patch. The resultant 5o sq mt of wild flowers are well worth the effort.

I'm not quite sure where you get the 4ltrs from?I don't think there is a fundamental difference - apart from strength - from the commercially available glysophate and that whereby Roundup rob the general public selling in small quantities? I've been using the commercial kind for many years...

Yup, that's a violet! If you look behind the flower, there are the typical heart-shaped leaves.

I've got a large patch of dead nettle, which I'm encouraging to spread. I noticed, a few days ago, another plant which I don't recognize growing in the garden. It has pure flowers and leaves look similar to dead nettle. I'll take a pic later. I saw a Bee feeding from it.

Thanks, the big issue is where to put them all. the area in question is size able right now, I am thinking 10 foot by 8 foot flooded with the bulbs. just tons of bulbs under there need to divide. I might give some to neighbors in the green and teach them how to plant them. over the years...

Woo when you go back have a look for nasty thorns. Blackthorn ..Prunus spinosa have them.Your pic looks as if they have a bloom on. A grey layer which gets rubbed off very easily when you touch the fruits. See.OR They could be tiny wild plums...bullace.purple-bullace - Suffolk Flora...
