New lawn from seed - advice needed please
Thanks again. I tried the ladder thing (weighted with large rocks) and it worked well. So far birds haven't shown any interest. Watering shouldn't be a problem given the rain, hail, snow...

Crumbly Top Soil To Cover Lawn Seed?
As above for a new lawn ^ If you're over seeding then a nice crumbly top soil will be just fine. Once covered use a rake to even up any coverage where necessary.
