To Cut & Collect Or Multiclip?
I would collect the clippings if you can. My neighbour uses a mulcher on her John Deere ride-on, and she has to drive relatively slowly for it to work, so probably not much difference timewise...

Newly laid turf will it survive?
Laura get them to exchange the turf -free of charge - just dump the old stuff , it will never grow . I bought a couple of "old rolls" from B n Q a few years ago , they just never grow correctly...

Is my soil prepared correctly for turfing?
Many thanks for the detailed advice! The ground is too wet right not to do anything so have postponed my turf delivery and will wait till it dries out before treading and raking. Cheers!
