uneven overgrown lawn.
If the lawns are really uneven, build up the levels with lawn dressing and then follow the steps above. Just don't reseed untill the spring.

You could do but then you might aswell just by a square yard of turf and cut and insert as oposed to waiting for germination etc.Personally i would just overseed using the method described.

Once established any bumps can be delt with by slicing the turf over the bumpy area and rolling it back, clear out the offending bump and re lay. Ditto for a hollow but add compost
