Being so far north colour in the gardens was limited.There were a number of these frames approximately 15ft high and all had some form of fruit growing, this one below was apple.Castle Dunrobin - impressive from the rear.

Our caravan is about 12 miles south of the Lake District national park . About 3 miles from Arnside , a very pretty village on the bay, overlooking the southern fells. It's 50 miles door to door, so will be a lovely little bolt hole as I plan to retire this summer.
