Thanks Loli! Something I learned. I made the crumble up the night before this time and left it to stand in a covered bowl on the worktop. I covered the apples with it yesterday morning and after baking, it had a better consistency and was crunchier and more golden.

Thank you all..... It is peaceful. I like my loud, heavy music, rock & country & blue grass but my favorite music is listening to the sounds of the bush while sitting on the porch enjoying my morning coffee. I make sure to listen & look & be grateful for what we have. Everything we accomplish...
