I've bought six young Clematis from Morrisons.Rouge Cardinal x2 Sunset Montana Rubens Etoile Violette Comtesse de BouchardI want a few more though, they appear to be addictive!

There were two Bitterns and saw them at different times. First was the head, later, the second was just part of the body, nothing as clear as our first visit a couple of years ago. Remember this pic?

seen the news tonight here but i heard about it previously, about a virus caused by midge bites hope all our lambs n calves will be ok heres a link to to Schmallenberg virus thats causing the deaths in new born lambs,calves n goats xx sad news sorry woo x

Amethyst Deceiver & Slippery Jack, Russula, may or may not be, theres a lot of them. Panther Cap, no,no. Fly Agaric, felt like death for 4 days, you could feel the red blood cells dying, so probably not.

i've got a couple of choices. 1. leave it till warmer temperatures, 2. remove all the infected leaves, but that will exspose the younger less frost hardy growth to frosts 3. spray with a frungicide, but again it isn't wise to do in winter conditions

Nice to see this thread bumped. I shall have to dust down my scope and see what can be seen. My usual lappy is a windows 7 64 bit and the microscope software does not support it so i shall have to get out the the old Dell and fire it up.

Thanks, the lower half of my garden is taking shape now The slugs haven't found them so far!Pigeons have taken one or two, I've got black cotton over them which helps a bit.

We have only moved here from Weymouth but still find lots of places we didn't know about, we ae looking forward to lots of long walks in the Spring and Summer.
