Pal whilst not common they are around in hedgerows etc - not as strongly smelling as the blue dog violet but very much the same. Found a clump in a hedgerow last spring, and liberated a couple of bits for my garden.

Everyone here likes to see other members gardens so keep them coming.

We have a Garden Centre in the next village which now specializes in exotics,I haven't been for years..since my son worked there..but I,m told Banana trees cost a lot,something like �£70-100 for a three footer!...Is that right??

I'm amazed, MF- lovely photos .My magnolias' buds are only just beginning to fatten up, including Stellata which is usually early.

Superb photography BM.. I was given a Technaxx tri-pod from my family & it is a brilliant one, incredibly liteweight & compacts roughly, 4' down to 10".. Haven't had it very long & have only used it for a few pics so far.. Waiting for the weather to pick up a bit really...

Thankyou, I was pleased with the outcome of the lillies. I always buy one bulb and propagate from scales before planting and those are the results.

managed to get the patio layed over the past couple of weeks with the good weather about, i didnt think id get near it until at least march, so i guess im ahead of myself and can now start thinking about ,"whats next". id still like to put an avary under the boys treehouse but ill have to see...
