I've always known it as Pheasant-berry - don't know why it's called that, though!! Since I first discovered it, I've seen it everywhere - and it seems pretty hardy, and, as LoL says, you can be pretty nasty to it, and it will cope fine.

I tried to grow morning glory once, planted the seed then pulled them all up as they germinated thinking they were bindweed. DOH!

Glad you liked the pics, I have to keep it organised to fit all my chilli's and toms in.What I really need is a bigger one, think I'll have to speak nicely to Mr D.

HB, pond is 20ft long and 7ft wide at the top end and 5ft wide at the bottom end. my son dug it out with m. digger.we had fun with digger my son lost control of it and went through fence to next door garden.he then asked my neighbour to put the kettle on while still on the digger and there was...

I find they flower reliably if grown in a good open sunny position and given a feed or two after flowering to build them up for next year. Mine have become overgrown by other plants and need moving, its also far too dry for them this year.

Well done Fee, I am new to gardening really, in my retirement and I generally prefer to keep the same plant type in each container and then have fun bunching pots together to form a display, which makes it more flexible.

I did not know what i was doing at first i was pressing all sorts and got know where very fast, your better being on the phone with someone talking you through what to do it is so much easier, i found it easier. good luck.
