    Slug free so far with the aid of copper tape round the pot, alpine grit in the pot and aluminium sulphate sprinkled on the grit- works as long as nothing overhangs them so slugs can climb across....

    Have just washed off all the soil and there was just the one kind of plant.I had dug out a good 10" down. Looks quite a thug...think I'll pot it up and keep watch!
