I don't want to disrupt Woo's thread Sheal, but if you could post some of your photos maybe on the "How good is my photo thread" you'll probably get some suggestions as to how to improve things. If your after dark pics are blown out you're maybe still using full auto which isn't the best way...

I think the old 1948 torch was a far better design that those brassy looking ones this time round. I can see why some are in a hurry to sell them. I'm sure the plastic bits will get very brittle over time, so best get shot of now before they crumble.:WINK1:

other than gardening, my other hobbies are cooking. as with gardening, i've been interested in this since i was a kid. if i didn't do the job i do, i'd be a chef! love knifes and good gadgets, if i see something for the kitchen that i haven't seen or got, i usually buy it (cash depending!) ...

I wish i knew how to knit, my grandmother tried to teach me when i was small, but we were always on the go with sports, so i never really tried.....looking back now, i wish i had sat still for her lessons.

Sadly its the same story with Gardeners world,they are to scared to really show the truth about things (GW peat free compost for example) (CF how most farm animals are kept factory style) The shows just become glossy magazine shows that don't really fit anywhere.
