Glad you haven't lost the finger. It was probably a good job you had just sharpened it or it may have been worse. The numbness and lack of pain is an odd one-it happened to me once when I badly burned my arm-it didn't hurt at all. Glad you are just about in one piece though.

Hi Tiarella, I would say I still do all the hobbies I started as they are things I really enjoy. I am always out to learn new things too Keep fit has gone by the wayside [except for swimmimg and walking ] but I never really enjoyed keep fit. I used to go to step classes and bought the board...

thanks penny pleased you like them , the second one winters day a friend of mine did the oil painting for me and i couldnt find it so i decided to water colour it, and i found the oil painting.
