Hello Fonzie - Inshould try your local auction rooms, banjos often come up for sale and quite cheap. Much more a 'picking' instrument than used for chords although the ols skiffle bands used them a lot.

My other interest is breeding and showing exhibition rabbits, I show all over Scotland and North England most weekends. When weather unsuitable for the garden then it's down to the rabbit shed for a few hours. Both hobbies are very theraputicRab
