If you buy an external hard drive and backup to that you'd still have your files if your PC crashes and you could set it up to do automatic backups 'on the fly' so that as soon as you save a file on the PC it gets copied onto the external drive. It's a lot less hassle than using on-line image...

Perhaps we could have a giant name that plant athon where we hunt around all the albums in an attempt to name the plants in the photo?

I bought a Fuji Finepix S1000fd and love it .. still don't know how to use it properly. I am not into pocket cameras ... I like the feel and heftiness of a 'real' camera. I also have an old Kodak DC4800 Zoom Digital with various attachments which I find brilliant, almost better than my Fuji!

Don't go there now my daughter's old enough to appreciate remote caravan/camping sites and horse riding/walking over fairgrounds, etc., although she loved it at the time. I always stood out as the odd one out who walked out of Butlins with a bucket & lugworm fork to the beach. I've got a spade...

Yeah true, I just didn't realise there was one on the flash lol so this is a good thing as going direct with the flash usually blows the image out, well my first few shots did at least hehe.

I'm going to try the panoramic function on my camera before we go away.

I loved the wildlife pictures. The red squirrel in the snow scene is amazing, it's coat really stands out.
