I make my own soup in huge quantities and freeze in in portions to take to work for lunch. The kids are home from uni and they are eating it all:eek: My veg soup varies every time according to what is available but my favourite is bacon and lentil soup:thumb:All definitely moreish:rolleyes:

take a slice of bread and toast it.spread a layer of sun dried tomato mayonaisse (normal will be fine) and then put sliced olives on top. delicious. try it.maybe even put some sun dried tomatoes for variety...

A great soup tip I picked up was to add just one or two small sticks of celery to a vegetable based soup. I am not a great fan of raw celery flavour, but when cooked down it doesn't half give a great edge to the soup stock - a real vegetable kick!I also love putting grated cheese on tomato...
