A turkey is not just for Christmas.......
Well, we have just had round two (I forgot to do the carrots, but just as well as there was tons to eat anyway) and it was absolutely gorgeous; the sprouts were the best I have ever had.

Locally grown strawberries are a must here when its the annual midsummer celebrations. As is imitating frogs...only at Midsummer though!

Freeze or Blanch Surplus Leeks ?
My leeks which were looking so good this year have all been afflicted by rust, so loads are being frozen before they deteriorate further because previously if left insitu it's devastated them.

What can I do with Adzuki beans?
Soak them over night, boil then till tender strain then whilst still hot pour on some nice oil like walnut or hazelnut makes a lovely salad.
