Fish (etc) for small pond
Good plan. If you have some shelves for plants that is a good place to pop maybe some larger stones - that way the tadpoles have some place to survive and hide from some hungry fishies!

I have found it takes a pond around 12 months min to set it's own eco system up & the plants establish themselves.. The full sun will cause the algae to grow as it is all so...

What an amzing picture; I couldn't agree more with you re keeping goldfish etc out of ponds, I love watching the tadpoles and newts in mine - I'll keep an eye out for hissing Sid too!
