Hedgehogs and Bonfires
I have 3 Hedgehogs as permanent residents in the garden due to the fact they can't dig under the fences or under the Garden Gate............so they're safe enough.

I lost my crista-galli last winter, both of them. As for the caesalpinia, so the secret is to keep them growing through the winter.

We've got at least 2 nests with chicks atm that I know of. Never fails to amaze me the loud alarm call the adults can make, coming from such a wee body! Fingers crossed our 2 cats only set off...
