I was the same Honeybunny until years ago I watched a pair nesting in a ravine at the back of my house. They pair up for life like swans and were devoted to the family they raised, that changed my opinion of them.

I knew I didn't want Chafer-bugs but never thought of badgers digging the lawn to find them Scrungee I didn't realise they found them such a delicacy....

we built our Hodgy a house in the shed last autumn, just a wooden box in the corner of the shed with a lil door cut in the shed wall so he can come and go, i thought we'd have to show it to him as was sure he'd never find it on his own but i needn't have worried as within a week of building it...

We got a few toads here, at night we have to look were we walking as we could step on one, i some times find them in the soil were the spuds are so you have to be carefull dig the spuds we got newts as well

How sweet. I haven't seen much activity around here yet. Bluetits have been building their nest for weeks. No-one else has used the boxes this year. Maybe they are late as its been rather cold up here
