It was the Ravens that worked that one out ahead of the other Corvidae. The others may have learned it off them since. Magpies mourn their dead with offerings

Yes, Shiney, the expired dates etc. can be misleading to some. I never observe them, and always use my nose or taste buds. It truly is a waste of money to do other wise. And with this practice...

Well in the summer I'll remove the net and put some pot plants around the pond to deter the herons, but I find the frogs rarely leave the pond during winter, they can get out if they want to, and...
