Sorry to hear that, Jazmine. We have had to net our little pond too. Every time I went in the garden there was another cat having a go at fishing!

Whenever I follow a link to you tube, I end up getting engrossed in something. I think I have just watched every creature comfort episodes they ever made. :D Thanks Victoria I really enjoyed that.:thmb:

Thanks, Clara......they are really pretty, arent they. Thats the same with the Jays here.....they have that "dont mess with me swagger".......they take over any bird feeder they show up at.

My sis is an animal lover and couldn't bear to have the squirrels in her loft destroyed, so she had a series of humane traps put up there instead. Every now and then, frantic noises in the loft would alert her that she'd got another captive. She'd then climb into the loft, remove trap plus...

Is the mouse doing any harm. If the answer is no then I would just leave it alone. If you get the chance to watch them in close up they are quite charming.

Sparrows know what they like ClaraLou. They love my peas and sweet peas and in season they won't leave them alone. As for eating them - well, it seems a shame. How many would you need to make meal ? But wild boar is lovely and I have no problem with that on the menu.

Remember her from last year? She is back on her nest in California with one egg so far.. You can find I live webcam here..

I took your advice Loopy and yesterday bought a bag of straw and put loads in the box. I also put a dish of cat food and some water out - the food had gone this morning but it could have been a cat! We have been finding several black "poos" on the path too so I think I may be in luck
