We are lucky enough to have three goldfinches visiting the nijer seed feeder in our garden, put the feeder out 18 mths ago and had nothing other than rotting seed for about a year that changed...

I heard the cuckoo today
There not been any sitings (or hearings:D) of Cuckoos here this Spring which is surprising a the wetland reserve here is teeming with Reed and Sedge Warblers, two of the Cuckoo's main hosts.
