hi woo thanks for the comments and i am very pleased with my new camera especially having the 12 megapixels certainly brings your subjects a lot closer as these horses were quite a distance away, I wouldnt of got some of these pics with my other cameras

thanks walnut,these guys just love this elephant, they go around asking people for money when you take pics but i guess it takes a lot of money and care to look after her.

I wellied an 8footish length of wood (recycled from a former lawn edge) into the ground, and secured with earth and stones, then screwed hanging basket brackets to the top couple of feet, on all four sides. A little lower, I used a shelf bracket to attach the table my son had made at an RSPB...

Perhaps you could have a go at getting some Long Tailed Tits please...gorgeous little birds aren't they... but I wonder if they would stay still long enough for you to photograph one????? Good luck if you try!!!!!

Our robins tend to sit on the street light and sing away as though it is dawn..although it is actually dark still. Good photo by the way...breast is a lovely colur.

Woo I have a Canon 70-300mm IS What I have done is to move a large pot with a Sumoch nearer to the kitchen window. The birds don't seem to see me any more I am probably now too close, as the head is in focus and the tail is not on some of my shots This is a cropped view

Yes they are degus , I saw some on the BBC 2 programme `Wildlife Park` the other day.
