I find they even like the dried dog food that you can buy, its much easier than that meat type, and along with a bowl of water, they enjoy it. Trouble is it brings in cats from miles around, and I suppose it could encourage rats.

Grasshoppers - the Meadow Grasshopper is green and brown while the Field Grasshopper(as in your photo is all brown) They are mainly vegetarian and eat grass.

No way :D I feed the birds, and they feed him. I do like raptors - especially in flight.

:D Lol, yes but they don't mate in my garden! I just wanted to know out of interest, I love watching them. The big brave things came for lunch while I was sunbathing yesterday, lol!!

We are about 30 miles from Romney Marsh, apparently the first marsh frogs came to the south east in 1935 and within a few years they had spread into Sussex. They do mate later than our own native frog.

Thought they would be long - I always worry in case I scare mum away.
