Thanks @Ademission. Yeah, I really enjoy taking pictures in the garden. Neglected my photography for years but I'm going through a keen phase again now after buying an IS macro lens.

It is amazing to look so much more closely at the magnificent flowers in our garden. We often just walk past and don't look at the detail. Great photos.

Beautiful images fella...the Astrantia is very nicely photographed, as are the rest for that matter.

Thanks mate. The Astrantia image was actually taken in 2007 with my old Canon 20D.

Ah...the 20D, my first DSLR and one of my favourites and the camera that cemented my love of photography.

Such a shame I've got the 20D & 40D bodies & all my old film kit sitting in a cupboard. All still perfectly functional but worth pennies. Every few years I get my slide projector & screen out to remind myself of a former life.
