Awww bless, I lost my cocker spaniel last April and in then end couldnt stand the void, so I rescued Maisie in November last year, havent looked back - even if she wont get the hang of "DONT STAND ON THE HEMS !!!!"
Know just what you mean, they leave such a huge gap don't they, we've always had a dog walked every day rain or shine for 24 years!!!!!, just got into walking every day again, we lost Fudge in July and at first every time I went out everybody kept asking where he was, and I just kept bursting into tears in the street:o!!!! so stopped going for a while, at least now I can go for a walk without doing that, anyway I'll stop being morbid,we go on holiday in March for 2 weeks :yess:so maybe when we c
I know what you mean about everybody asking, its very hard. I have to be honest its taken a while to bond with Maisie as she isnt Penni (I know that probably sounds daft) but we are getting there - afterall she has had to get used to me as well wouldnt be without her
Its funny you should say that, we had a golden retriever before Fudge called Penny(fancy that) she was definitely Robs dog(OH) never seen him in such a state as when we lost her, he wouldn't bond with Fudge, just don't think he wanted to get too attached, Fudge seemed to sense this and used to climb on his knee every oportunity licking his face, running to meet him whenever he came home, more so than with anyone else, of course it wasn't long before Fudge had him twisted round his little finger,
