Looks like youve put loadsss of time into this one.do u have to sew the rib sections together or lots of balls going at the same time? i used to run a tufting machine making mat fabric but still cant work out how you have done it x
bless you Joolz - 3 balls on the go at once. 4 rows of Stocking stitch each colour in sequence which gives you :eg a pink band ( showing purl side ) then the next pink band will show garter stitch . Good for using up left over balls of yarns. This way, they don't go to waste. The rib look is achieved by knitting side ways on - not from bottom to top. Had fun this afternoon making the 2 bobbles. Kept "trimming " them to get them smooth. Reduced 'em by half !! LOL, Jenny
One day jenny i will take up knitting..if i can ever get to retire lol untill then i will scratch my head at how you produce these gems x i can do a 700 bobbin kreel and thread ever needle to the pattern but knitting ive no idea lol x
