It amazes me how many owners let them roam considering how many cats are killed by cars
How many cats are run over each year?

 

I love and respect all forms of life. Cats are not my favourites but I wouldn't harm them. In my book. It's the cat that chooses YOU and not the other way around. I saw a clip on the TV recently. Some cats actually attacking the owner. Never mind the animal psycology etc. That cat is dangerouse.

 

I'm a big fan of Jackson Galaxy . Amazing guy with a huge talent for sorting out badly behaved cats. Some of the owners have been putting up with their cat's attacking them and their anti social habits for a long time. In the case of one lady her cat had been attacking her for a number of years .

 

Apparently, it takes on average 2 months for a cat to train its owner - this must be true because I heard it on the radio

 

Have you ever come across a book by Terry Pratchett called the Unadulterated Cat? It strikes a chord with what you said about the cat choosing the person and not vice versa, good little book and very funny observations about cats!

 

I am completely managed by my cat, and have even been known to get out of my seat if the cat decides that's where he would like to sit....

 

Hi I'm new on here. I have a problem with a cat using the edges of my flower beds so I've put down orange peel and grated citronella only to go out and find the cat has done its business in my 14" crocosmia which is tightly packed and has flattened the 14" grasses around the poo presumably to make it more comfortable.
Grrrr!

I read that the person who's having the problem with cats is to get one themselves, don't know if it works.
