A few more from the garden today i need to get some more props, i am getting fed up of gnomes.

 

How about a few of these then? I thought about trying to make some - twigs are easy enough to find.

 

They look good Tetters i just wouldn't get round to making any, i will keep my eyes peeled on my travels im am sure to find something .

A few flying things, on my wander around the garden this morning....
(Apologies for the quality of the photos, I wasn't planning on doing macro photos when I went for my wander!)


A visitor to the lavenders in the herb, or eye, bed.


A small blue's eye view of the pond. This little one was constantly coming back to the semi-moist moss just about the "outflow" of the pond. (Not that we have had much outflowing - it has been so dry here since the pond went in). I wonder if there are important trace minerals building up there?


One of the blue damselflies. Slightly different to the normal blues, which are blue all the way along the body in a sort of blue-brick, black-mortar, blue-brick manner. This little fellow was smaller, and had a mainly black body, with a blue "tail-band".

 

Lol true, i am shocking for starting jobs and finishing them months later, it was only the other day i finished the living room, i started it late November early December, probably why ive took to gardening it doesn't matter if you only half do a job ,

@Sian in Belgium your ponds really took off looks like you've got the balance spot on great job for one/two days work .

 

@ARMANDII I should have clarified that - the American red squirrel is not anywhere near like your delightful little fellows. This is what they look like.

They will even kill baby males, theirs and others if possible, just so there is less competition for mating. They are also destructive to property.

Our grey squirrels are probably similar to yours and our black ones are really stupid. They don't have a long life span and that seems to be explained by the fact that, most often, road kill turns out to be a black squirrel.
