    Geographic tongues.
    My asthmatic son gets geographic tongue.
    It's always before a bad chest infection. His specialists don't see a connection!
    Any more info would be great :biggrin:

      Pork and apple in cider soup. It doesn't look particularly pretty. It smells a bit strange too but it tasted jolly good. Especially as it was a first attempt. I used frozen square sausage meat. They are a little too spicy for our taste so they have have been kicking around in the freezer for quite a while. As the sausages were already spicy, I didn't need to spice the soup. I chopped everything up and threw it in the slow cooker overnight.

        Last night it was posh lentils;
        • Dice a medium onion and saute with garlic and chillies
        • add fennel seed and black cummin seed.
        • add about a quarter of the lentils and halved cherry tomatoes and cook for five or six minutes.
        • add harissa paste, mushrooms, the rest of the lentils and diced chicken breast
        • add vegtable stock and simmer, topping up if required
        • after 15 minutes add peas, broad beans and black and green olives (halved)
        • about a minute before serving add chopped fresh coriander
        Try to keep them slightly sloppy, but not so sloppy that you might as well call it soup!

          Tonight I made an arrabiata sauce (I did add fennel seeds as they just work so well with tomato and chilli). Once cooked I added olives, capers, prawns and diced chorizo and let it rest whilst the pasta (Lumaconi) cooked, put the sauce mix back on heat whilst I drained the pasta which I then folded in to the arrabiata and served. Just a plateful of my favourite things and that is always good!

                              So I make this great seafood roll-up the other night and forgot to take pics of it...today leftovers along with a side of steak we will call "Surf and Turf" of sorts...I have allot of lobster broth in the freezer that I make from the shells some time ago. I took about 4 cups and cooked it down to about 2 cups...Man did it smell good...Rolled up some cooked shrimp and scallops in a tortilla and added some special sauce inside and out...Yum was it good...Just as good the second night but just doesn't look as good....What should I do next with that lobster broth....? Lobster Bisque.....
