Yep, they should have started this in earnest at the very beginning but I guarantee they'll find that £2bn disappears.

I understand the SNP have also tabled no confidence motions also and it doesn't matter if Corbyn's being pressured into it or not, it's still his name on the ticket.

All of which is of no interest to people and businesses - they need solid, practical answers and to know just what is happening and how.

Dominic Raab has come up with an idea, give 'the £39 billion' to businesses (directors & shareholders?) rather than to the NHS. Somehow I don't think that'll go down well with the electorate.

Give businesses the £39bn we would no longer pay the EU

They're probably already changing the slogan on the Brexit battle bus ...

How about Dominic Raab shuts his pie hole! If Mp's are serious about decent investment ('tis the season to be jolly...) then they should allocate a pile of cash and let the FSB come up with a strategy for small businesses. There are so many better options than letting an uninformed, unqualified MP decide what's best

I, daughter and husband have just watched the video of Mr Corbyn where he calls TM a stupid woman. We all agree he's 100% guilty! How on earth has he the lack of backbone/dishonesty to deny what he said? What he said wasn't very nice but to deny that he said it...what an idiot. We all know politicians are extremely economic with the truth but this is a bare faced lie and all he needed to do was say sorry. Pathetic. What a wonderful example to the youth of today. Own up when you f up!

Good evening @silu my friend I completely agree with you but on saying that it has happened on about 12 occasions in the last few years:dunno: that in no way makes it acceptable in any way:smile:

                1.
( Philip Hammond was accused of calling hardline pro-Brexit campaigner Andrea Jenkyns a “stupid woman” in July this year, after she asked Theresa May a barbed question in the Commons.

But the controversy evaporated when Ms Jenkyns brushed it off, saying the remark was part of the “cut and thrust” of politics.)

                2.
(In May this year, John Bercow was heard by some MPs calling Andrea Leadsom, the leader of the Commons, a “stupid woman”.

Mr Bercow had admitted using the word “stupid” during a disagreement with Ms Leadsom, but denied insulting her personally)

There are so many prongs to today's events for me, it is worse than a fork..........

Did he say 'stupid woman' - yes, in my opinion he did. BUT, he muttered it under his breath; he did not say it out loud, nor did he actually say it directly to her to demean her. I have lost count of the times that I have muttered things under my breath - hell, watching that video of Corbyn, I muttered to myself 'stupid prick', because he is.

The behaviour in that chamber, almost without fail, is utterly appalling - even in that clip, all you can hear is them jeering and making useless noise for no reason like a bunch of overgrown schoolchildren; when you actively foster an atmosphere like that - as @wiseowl rightly points out thatwould be the 'cut and thrust of politics' aluded to earlier in the year - that sort of atmosphere breeds behaviour like this. You cannot simply choose which part of poor behaviour you pick up on, and let the rest get away with it.

Oh, and maybe he SHOULD have said it out loud, as clearly trading insults is the only thing that seems to get our politicians even remotely fired up nowadays.

I cannot believe we are sitting here, with all that is going on in the world, and our politicians are squabbling over who called who what and when. They should stop the childish behaviour, cast any insults to one side and get on with the job they are being paid to do.

                    Am I hearing this right?
That stupid R sole Corbyn is getting it in the neck for muttering under his breath the words "stupid woman".
Now, she may be stupid, that is a real matter of opinion, but I do believe:scratch:, she is a woman.

Now if she had called old R sole a "stupid man" would we still be getting the same reaction?

What on earth is the world coming to?
Perhaps he should stick to calling her a "stupid moron" that sounds much nicer and would perhaps be acceptable.

Well, in a few minutes it will come to the Orion Nebula and should turn right.:dunno::heehee:

Naah, pete, Politicians don't believe that they're getting paid, or voted in for, telling the truth. They think it's better to say, out loud, what they think the voters will like and believe. They never actually say out loud what they actually think or believe.:dunno::doh::snorky:

Stupid moron is grammatically correct

If he'd called her a clever moron, it would have been an oxymoron.

But any which way, she's a moron.

It's not what he said true or otherwise:) it's the fact that he seems to think it necessary to lie about what he said which I find ridiculous. As others have eluded to, we have much more important issues to tackle than this classroom behaviour that riles me,

                              However I have a question......
Is it possible to have a vote of no confidence in the leader of the opposition? Serious question. Who will give us an alternative brexit or .....another outcome?
Anyway, guess they are all to busy 'networking/ partying ' for 2 weeks :mute: while the rest of us worry about finances and a lot of us work throughout the Christmas period.
Corbyn, I say this as a labour voter:sofa::oops: needs to go. There is no discussion, delibarating, compromise. He seems intent on his 'election ' but what happens after that? ......
