Hmm. I was browsing You Tube today and came across an interview by the BBC Hard Talk with Lady Hale. President of the Supreme Court. She solved puzzle I had. Previously I had related a court case I'd had as a traffic cop. The accused was found guilty of speeding and fined. He shouted that he would appeal to the Supreme Court. I'd never heard of such a court. The reason turns out to be. Back in the 1960's there was no Supreme Court. The Supreme Court as such only came into being ten years ago. Prior to that cases that warranted extra special consideration were dealt with by the House of Lords. Now I wonder if the individual in question, was someone to do with the government of the day?

Yet rarely has it been proven to be true so many times as it has been against Boris. Even Laura Kuenssberg was able to use the "truth......tenuous" phrase without complaint (yup! I stole it from her!).
He is also without principle. In a commons exchange with Emily Thornberry he categorically stated that there can be no return to a hard border whilst we were in the midst of the backstop issue.................
"there can be no return to a hard border. There can be no hard border. That would be unthinkable, and it would be economic and political madness. I think everybody, on both sides of this House, understands the social, political and spiritual ramifications of allowing any such thing to happen"

When he was asked which side he would back after the referendum was announced he said "I don't know. I will have to consider it first". This despite the fact that just a few weeks earlier he had written a piece for his Telegraph column about the importance of being in the EU for this country, which was rejected as it did not fit in with the editorial viewpoint, and so wrote a different column instead. His statement was claptrap - he is a tory and tories have obsessed about Europe for decades.

Not being one to trust a politician (I know, a big shock), I think Boris should also watch his back for Savid and that pustular Gove...

They , (the remain MPs and their mouthpieces, the media) , do really seem to be doing the demolition job on Boris now, I really cant believe that they have dragged up the fact he touched a woman's leg 20 yrs ago.

Horror of horrors, just wonder why its taken 20yrs to come out, and it surfaces at a time like this, so very unfortunate.

OH for god sake, shut up you "bunch of morons", (those that come up with this twaddle), and get on with the job in hand, one bloody way or the other.

I think we should demand another referendum, oops, sorry. I meant General Election. Then we can take back control from the cretins.

Would it be bad time for me to reveal that Jeremy Corbyn once touched my bum? He could deny it, but he couldn't prove he didn't ;)

It just show that the distance between American and the UK isn't as great as we thought as in the desperate politics that the last 3 years have reduced the MPs, Remoaners, and the Financial/Political funding attempts to stop BREXIT by using the no holds barred methods that Trump, the White House Administration, are using at the moment. The UK has always been using speech and allegations that are, at least on the surface, done in reasonable courtesy and with factual evidence, but now its's sad to to see how easily the UK politics has echoed the US Politics and how the Remainers and agended parties have taken so easily to mimicking those methods.

Hear Hear. Isn'this taking things a bit too far.

I honestly hate to see the way women are so often treated. In this context. How often perhaps, having been a guest at a friends home, and sitting around. You might lay your hand on the lady's thigh and say. Jane. Thank you so much. I have enjoyed a wonderful meal and fab company. Thank you so very much. Please permit me to return the compliment.

Now for either man or woman to place their hands on the genitals of another. Then that constitutes,'groping'. Passiung another so cloes and twitchin etc their genitalia. That's 'groping.

Forgive me quoting a far-left propaganda site ;) but this raises some questions - UK to reveal detailed plan for Brexit negotiations

So, let me get this right - the issue of the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland has been the sticking point, with people not wishing to return to the days of a hard border due to the risks that it would re-ignite tensions that we saw in years past? So, rather than have a hard border, the idea is that there will be customs clearance centres away from the border (5-10 miles has been mooted) with the bulk of the formalities being done at both the original source and destination for the goods.

This suggests to me that this is a trade/goods border and not one for people?

Now, it is already kicking off about this on Twitter this morning (I admit I haven't read all that much due to lack of time), but I just don't get it - - a solution was needed, and one has been proposed?

Even more confusingly, when Junker said only a couple of weeks ago that there would have to be a hard border and that it would be installed on the Ireland side, there was barely a squeak!

Please - I expect better of you than that! Both sides have lost standards but the leave side have easily descended further. The recent efforts to stop a no deal have relied (in a large part) on the governments own documents (for Operation Yellowhammer) whilst the government (or should I now call it a money making exercise for a chosen few) has called it a load of ballcocls and lied repeatedly about their efforts to persue a deal. So please, let's remain objective.

That is eaxactly what the government is suggesting. And once again, as I have said previously, this means that an open border for people remains between the UK and the EU. One of the (if not the main) points of the leave campaign was to put a stop to the immigration "free for all" yet once again they do nothing to address it - is this really a serious proposal or is it just more posturing from Boris.
