Corona Virus Treatment

Well I'm not one to be going out much and I certainly won't be staying indoors even if they do try a lockdown.
I just find normal day to day activities are a PITA.
Queuing outside shops just to buy the smallest item.
Messing around with masks.
People jumping out the way if you get too close.
And getting hearded about following arrows.
Standing behind lines
And all the other crazy stuff that is going on.

 

Do what I do ... don't go to the shops or anywhere there are people unless it is absolutely necessary. I still think the best thing for you is to get a companion ... dog! There is one out there waiting for you ... and your knees!

My outing this week is going to a garden center tomorrow to see what I can find.

 

What ever happened to, evening classes and adult further education?

 

Its depressing, and has hit a lot of people hard. I can understand why they're doing it but I don't think the government wish to continue it longer term. People are already saying they would rather risk covid than persist with this unnatural going on, which for many is more existing than living. As you know, I've been more supportive of some of the measures than you - albeit reluctantly, as a lesser-of-two-evils - but that doesn't stop me resenting every single moment of them. I also work with the public, and can report that these measures are increasingly unpopular across social groups, although most are resigned to following them for the foreseeable future. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, just repeating what I (often) hear.

 

There's currently about 15,000 new cases every day in the UK [1] and 15,000 x 7 = 105,000 new cases a week.

The graphs you have displayed only show about 500 'incidents' a week in England (which had the vast majority of cases).

I suspect these graphs have been taken out of context and are only part of a much bigger picture.

Have a look at the link in my post and you will find the rate of admission to hospital is running at 684/day, nearly 5,000/week, so those graphs showing 500/week hospital admissions still only show a small part of the total cases.

 

The longer this goes on the more I realise the statistics are pointless.
As usual you can view them any way you like and as for the way they collect them, its ridiculous.
None of them are even worth looking at IMO.

 

There's so much information available, that it allows people to pick and choose whatever they need to substantiate their ideologies/agendas.
