        Carried on from yesterday and dug over the rest of my veggie patch. Just a rough dig and removal of large weeds. Blimey the ground is still quite heavy but it’s a good work out.
        Grounds full of juicy worms though.

          I’m only getting a half hour here and there at the moment what with homeschooling etc. Just shifting a bit more turf and mud, managed to break the rake too :(

              Lovely and sunny today so pounced on my trusty green garden tool bag and got to it. Weeded the borders. I had to navigate between the new shoots coming through. Tidied up some scruffy plants. Sadly the Marguerite daisy has croaked it :doh:that will teach me not to lift it. Swept up leaves and a ton of bird seed from the back patio then got brave and decided to sow some sweet peas under cover in the greenhouse (first time growing them) Spencer mix, old fashioned mixed and royal mixed. Its unheated in there but they are covered so will try it.
              Thinking of giving raspberries a go on the allotment :ideaIPB:

                Although the temperature had risen to 41f the Bird Baths were still frozen as were any puddles of water but I had to plant the 200 "in the green" Aconites in my last order as it's best not to leave them too long in their bags as they can spoil. So, I chose two areas in the "walk around" border and got on with the job. I had to work carefully with the Hand Trowel and Fork as there's all sorts of Bulbs with shoots poking out of the ground and even more that are still hiding only millimetres below the surface but, even working slowly and carefully, I managed break a shoot or two:doh::wallbanging:
                The "trouble" with Aconites "in the green" is that the flower stems are just uncurling and that the actual bulbs are the size of Peas so you have to be careful when handling them and having cold fingers does not help:dunno: But, in the end, the job was done and I then used the Secateurs to cut away the remaining clumps of Clematis clinging to the Trellis Entrance to the Garden. I've had to put the prunings into sacks as there's no room in the Compost Bins at the moment and, with that in mind, I thought it might be a good idea to order some 300litre new garden sacks, which I've just done.

                    Hi @ARMANDII , I have what I think is Clematis viticella. Its died back now but is still wrapped around the obelisk. Would you recommend I cut it back now or wait until spring.
                    Thanks :blue thumb:

                        My knees could be better, if only.... I have managed to fall on my knees any times over many years, that is not really a great thing to keep doing..Just as they 'mend' ...:dbgrtmb: like a few weeks ago when we were the mad decorators and overdone it... just managed the :lolpt:hard tiled floor this time for some variety....hands face and boomps a daisy that was not in the plans:catapult:

                          @Jasmine star

                          Hi Jasmine star, well, if it is a Viticella, then it can be Winter pruned or left until early Spring. Cut it back, when you want, leaving about 3 or 4 buds on the stems.......and when it starts to climb give it a fortnightly High Potash feed.

                              Just came in for dinner. Had a greenhouse morning and potted up 25+ young plants that I grew from seed last summer/ autumn, also potted on some cuttings taken from my parent's garden last year that looked pot bound.

                              Back out after eating to tidy up the mess I've left in the greenhouse then hopefully get to tidy up a few more borders.:blue thumb::fingers crossed:

                                Went outside for an hour or so as the sun has come out. Weeded the front outside borders and under the monkey puzzle tree. Was nice to get a bit of sun on my face.
